DCJS Mandated Refund policy

According to article 9 NYCRR Part 6028.7 (NYS DCJS Security Guard School Refund Policy), students will be entitled to a 100% refund anytime prior to the start of instruction. If a course is divided between two 4 hour days, students will be entitled to a 50% refund if the student cancels before the start of the second 4 hour block.

16 hour OJT Course: Student will be entitled to a 50% refund if the student cancels before the start of the second 8 hour block of instruction. If the instruction is divided between four 4-hour sessions, the refund schedule shall be 75%, 50%, and 25%. A DCJS appproved security guard training school cannot assess any non-refundable registration fees, cancellation fees, or deposits.

REFUND PROCEDURE:

For all refunds, Start Security Group Corp. will follow DCJS mandated refund policy procedures. Student must also present valid photo ID and receipt of payment issued by Star Security Groupe Corp.All refunds will be paid with company checks.
